Mahindra Scorpio-N is expected to receive its first major update soon as Mahindra prepares a facelifted version of its popular SUV for the Indian market.
The updated Scorpio N is likely to launch around 2026 and could bring several new technologies and comfort upgrades while retaining its rugged SUV identity.
Since its launch, the Scorpio N has become one of Mahindra’s best-selling SUVs, with its bold road presence, powerful engines, and strong off-road capability. With increasing competition in the premium SUV segment, Mahindra now appears ready to make the Scorpio N more feature-loaded and modern.
According to reports, the upcoming facelift could introduce a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a larger, fully digital instrument cluster. The cabin may also receive revised upholstery, updated dashboard materials, and a more premium interior theme.
One of the biggest expected additions is a panoramic sunroof, a feature currently missing from the Scorpio N lineup. Mahindra may also offer ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and upgraded connected car technology in higher variants.
The facelifted Scorpio N is also expected to receive improvements to its safety and driver-assistance features. Mahindra could expand the SUV’s ADAS package with additional functions to better compete against newer rivals in the segment.

On the outside, the changes are likely to remain subtle rather than dramatic. The SUV may get redesigned LED headlamps, refreshed bumpers, updated tail lamp detailing, and newly styled alloy wheels. However, Mahindra is expected to retain the Scorpio N’s muscular stance and upright SUV proportions that have made it popular among buyers.
The SUV is likely to continue with the existing engine options. The Scorpio N facelift is expected to retain the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with both manual and automatic gearbox choices.
Higher variants are also likely to continue offering Mahindra’s 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system, helping the SUV maintain its strong off-road capability.
The Scorpio N facelift is expected to target buyers looking for a more premium and technology-focused SUV experience without losing the rugged appeal that defines the Scorpio brand.
Pricing for the updated model could see a slight increase due to the addition of new features and technology. Once launched, the facelifted Scorpio N will continue to rival SUVs like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market.
With better features, updated technology, and subtle design enhancements, the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift aims to make the already popular SUV even more attractive for Indian buyers.
