Ferrari Luce has been officially unveiled as Ferrari’s first-ever fully electric production car. The Italian performance brand has taken a bold step into the EV segment with a futuristic grand tourer that combines massive power, high-speed performance, and long-range capability.

The new Ferrari Luce has been designed to deliver the excitement of a traditional Ferrari while embracing next-generation electric technology. Unlike Ferrari’s current two-door sports cars, the Luce comes with a more practical four-door layout and a spacious cabin aimed at combining luxury with everyday usability.
Powering the Luce is a high-performance quad-motor electric setup producing a staggering 1050 horsepower. Ferrari claims the EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds, placing it among the quickest road-going Ferraris ever made. The top speed is expected to cross 310 kmph.
Ferrari has developed the Luce on a completely new EV platform engineered at its Maranello facility. The supercar uses a large 122 kWh battery pack paired with an advanced 880-volt electrical architecture. On a full charge, the Luce is claimed to deliver a driving range of around 530 km.
The EV also supports ultra-fast charging technology, allowing the battery to recharge much quicker compared to conventional electric cars. Ferrari says the charging system has been designed to improve long-distance touring capability without compromising performance.
New Ferrari Luce design
In terms of design, the Luce looks very different from any current Ferrari model. It gets a sleek aerodynamic silhouette, sharp LED lighting elements, and a clean futuristic profile with strong coupe-inspired styling. The design has reportedly been shaped by input from former Apple design experts, giving the car a more modern, minimalist appearance.
Inside the cabin, Ferrari has avoided an overly digital setup. Instead of relying entirely on touchscreen controls, the Luce continues with physical buttons and rotary switches to maintain a more engaging driving experience. Premium leather, metal accents, and sustainable materials have also been used throughout the interior.

Ferrari engineers have reportedly worked extensively to preserve the brand’s emotional character despite the absence of a traditional petrol engine. The Luce features a specially developed sound system and vibration technology aimed at creating a more immersive driving feel.
The electric supercar also comes equipped with advanced handling technologies, including four-wheel steering, torque vectoring, and adaptive suspension systems. Ferrari says these systems help maintain precise cornering performance even with the added weight of the large battery pack.
The Ferrari Luce is expected to be positioned as a flagship luxury EV with prices likely to start above Rs 5 crore in global markets. Customer deliveries are anticipated to begin internationally by late 2026.
With the Luce, Ferrari is not only entering the electric era but also redefining what a high-performance luxury EV can look and feel like.
